Morning Bill,

Really happy with the loft conversion and will send over some photos once all painted and flooring down. We’ve been impressed with every aspect of G&M from the initial quote and drawing delivered in less than a week to the fantastic team who worked on site. Tom and David were a great team and always happily answered all my questions.

We have never had any major building work done before and I have to say it was very stress free and with minimal mess. All the different trades arrived on the allocated days as advised by Dave and they were all extremely friendly and polite.

We’re so impressed with how quickly everything came together and now we have a fantastic space to enjoy which was only recently a dark and messy loft.

Would highly recommend your services to anybody considering a loft conversion.

Just wanted to thank you and your team for such a wonderful experience. Roger and Clark were mindblowingly professional and meticulous. Mark the roofer was equally stand out and did a fantastic job.

I was completely prepared to be a picky so and so and make sure to accept nothing but the best. Your team left this job and I thought to myself, every single thing has been done to such an incredibly high standard that I can’t find a single fault in the entire build.

The little extras that you do really separate you guys from the rest.

The way they boxed in the stairs is ornamental and a real feature, the recesses that he put in the small room maximised the space and the tapering of the velux windows to maximise light is brilliant.

Not sure when we’ll be able to afford our next loft but I would really like for you to put Roger and Clark on the job when the time comes.

You and Dave have really created the perfect business model. I can see how you churn them over so efficiently.

I am writing to summarise the great job that was undertaken by yourselves in the conversion of our loft. We would like to say a huge thank you to all that were involved and we believe that those carrying out the work are deserving of a satisfied testimonial. We feel that we have received a particularly professional service throughout the job. We instructed yourselves following a sterling recommendation and are very pleased that we did.

Right from the outset, from the initial call to enquire, we received a professional service and an appointment was made by Bill Martin to come and talk to us. I must say, this initial visit confirmed that we would go ahead and instruct G&M, as Bill took a great deal of time with us to explain the work involved and answer any questions that we had. He was not in the slightest bit pushy, didn’t try to convince us into instructing G&M and offered us valuable advice.

We were promised a written quotation within a few days, that was delivered by hand within this period and the drawings provided were precisely as we had envisaged. At this stage, we did not feel it necessary to request quotations from any other company and G&M were instructed to go ahead. Commencement was around two months due to planning consents and during this time we were kept informed and the professional service that we had initially received was kept up throughout.

The first day we were introduced to the main team undertaking the work, that being Roger and Hayden and from this initial meet, we could see that completion would run smoothly as the team worked well and were hard working. The job was carried out professionally and tidily and throughout the work, disruption to the house and family was minimal. The team were extremely friendly and accommodating, not to mention courteous. All tradesman that entered the house were also friendly and acted in a professional manner at all times.

The completed job, which finished quicker than we had expected, far exceeded the expectation that I particularly had and we have now got two fantastic sized bedrooms and a double shower room. This has put sizeable value onto our property, which far exceeds the amount spent in undertaking the conversion.

The family as a whole are extremely happy with the result and you have given us a great deal of pleasure with everyone now having their own individual space.

Finally we would like to say that G&M are an outstanding professional company with an excellent reputation and I would strongly recommend them in the future. We would like to thank all those involved in giving us the perfect finish to our wonderful family home.

May we take this opportunity to thank everyone involved in our ‘build’ for their professionalism, reliability, knowledge and pride during all stages of our recent dormer loft conversion.

We have to admit that we were dreading the proposed 6-8 weeks of building works, dust, mess and inconvenience that we thought would ensue.

However we have been presently surprised not only with the speed of construction but also how little intrusion and impact the ‘build’ had on our day to day lives. Even our neighbours regularly commented how quick the ‘build’ was completed and how the team did not stop working.
